Chairperson

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide leadership of the IVBA committee
  • Work with the executive committee* to achieve the overall mission of the association.
  • Optimise the relationship between the executive board, committee, sub-committees, membership, professional organisations and other stakeholders
  • Act as a spokesperson and representative for the IVBA & IVBA committee
  • Chair committee meetings

*Executive committee consists of Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary

 

Time Required:

 

  • 2 - 4 hours per week, spread over at least 2 - 3 days.

 

Skills and Resources Required:

 

  • Access to a computer
  • Reliable internet access
  • Basic computer skills - ability to work in a methodical manner using standard computer software
